SPARK TEL AVIV is delighted to announce the four projects selected to participate in its program:
- From the "Repurposing" track: Prof. Lihi Adler-Abramovich, Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Dr. Maayan Gal, Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Prof. Josef Haik, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Intensive Care Burn Unit, Sheba Medical Center, Dr. Ayelet DiSegni, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Intensive Care Burn Unit, Sheba Medical Center, for the proposal entitled: "Harnessing drug repurposing for burn treatment: Optimizing cultured epidermal autografts through HIF-mediated collagen enhancement".
- From the "Bio- Computational" track: Prof. Nir Ben-Tal School of Neurobiology, Biochemistry & Biophysics Faculty of Life Sciences Tel Aviv University, Prof. Itay Mayrose School of Plant Sciences and Food Security Faculty of Life Sciences Tel Aviv University, Prof. Tal Pupko Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research Faculty of Life Sciences Tel Aviv University, for the proposal entitled: "ConSurf - an evolutionary flashlight for detecting functional regions in proteins, DNA and RNA".
- From the "Bio-Computational" track: Prof. Roded Sharan, School of Computer Science and AI, Faculty of Exact Sciences, Tel Aviv University, for the proposal entitled: "An Algorithm for Clustering Biological Networks".
- From the " Bio-Computational " track: Prof. Ran Gilad-Bacharch, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tel Aviv University, for the proposal entitled: “Gradient Boosted Trees on Complex Data Types".
