SPARK TEL AVIV Unveils Two New Selected Projects for Its Program

SPARK TEL AVIV is delighted to announce the two new projects selected to participate in its program:

 

  1. From the "Novel Therapeutics" track:  Prof. Micha Fridman, School of Chemistry, Tel Aviv University and Prof. Ronen Ben-Ami, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, for the proposal entitled: "Third Generation Antifungal Drugs of the Echinocandin Class to Overcome Resistance in Invasive Candidiasis".
     
  2. From the "Repurposing" track:  Prof. Pablo Blinder, School of Biochemistry Neurobiology Biophysics, Tel Aviv University, and Dr. Einor Ben Assayag, Head of research group in Stroke and Dementia, Prof. Hen Hallevi,

 

Head of the Neurology-Stroke department, Dr. Jeremy Molad, Senior Deputy Director of the Neurology-Stroke Department at Ichilov Neurology Division, Dr. Oren Tene, Director of the Psychiatric Division, from Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, for the proposal entitled: "Intranasal delivery of the CCR5 antagonist Maraviroc: a novel strategy for efficient treatment of post-stroke cognitive impairment".
